i'll give this a try

I have wanted to create a blog, for quite a while now. Mainly to keep my family up to date with what is going on in my life. Which is why most blog I would imagine. 

I recently found out that I am having surgery which caused a mass amount of phone calls and emails from my friends and family, so I figured now would be as good a time as any to start this thing. This way I can update, those who care to know anyway, everyone on how I am feeling and what is going on. 

And then when all that is over if you choose to, you can continue to read the ramblings about the life of the Jamie yall all know and (sometimes) love.
